Bus / Group trip 2 days

Experience two days in Dalsland filled with culture, crafts, canal and good food! All surrounded by a breathtaking scenery!

Day 1

We start with lunch at Sjömagasinet, located in the small resort of Gustavsfors in northern Dalsland. Sjömagasinet is an old boat magazine from 1860, recently converted to a hotel and restaurant, with a wonderful location at the guest harbor.
After lunch we continue south to Bengtsfors. Here we visit Halmen Hus, which is both an interesting museum of straw with exhibitions, and has a well-stocked craft shop. Here we get a guided tour.
We then cross to Gammelgården, which is an open-air museum with about 20 old buildings, mostly from the 19th century, and moved there. Here is also a guided tour around the cottages.
After this we enjoy afternoon coffee in the coffee shop, which is adjacent to these buildings. If there is time and interest, you can make a stop on Dahls Konfektyr, which has factory sales of its fresh candy at a good price.
The journey continues to Baldersnäs Herrgård, where we spend the night in double rooms in the wings, located in the beautiful park. Here you can take a walk, and maybe visit the craft buildings in the park.
In the evening a good dinner in the mansion is served.

Day 2

After a delicious good manor breakfast, we go on to Håverud. Here we embark on one of the canal boats operating Dalsland Kanal. We travel through the famous aqueduct, and a number of locks, and arrive in Långbron around kl. 14. A boat trip of about 3 hours, where you are invited to a fantastic nature experience, and will be served lunch on board. The boats have full rights on board.
After arriving at Långbron, the trip continues west to Ed, where you visit the Moose Ranch. Here you can familiarize yourself with the moose in the hall before the day ends with afternoon coffee.
Guide comes with both days.
Of course, changes to the program can be made as desired, depending on where you come from.
