Day 1

The tour starts in Bengtsfors, where you get your bikes and lunch packages. From Bengtsfors you cycle along the lakes Bengtsbrohöljen and Laxsjön to Baldersnäs Herrgård.

Here you have dinner in the mansion restaurant, and overnight in a double room with all the amenities in the wings located in the beautiful english park.

Please take time to look around in the park, and visit the nice boutiques with home and handicrafts.

Day 2

After breakfast you will have lunch packet and you cycle the short distance to Skärbo Nature Reserve. In a beautiful cultural landscape, there are various long hiking trails that are well marked. Choose yourself how far you want to go, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Back to Baldersnäs, for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast you will have your lunch package, and start your trip to Skållerud. You cycle through Dals Långed, and then on road 2218 called “Beautiful City Road”. Here are several nice picnic areas along the way, where you can enjoy your lunch package.

After about 33 km, you arrive at Skålleruds Gård, where you are welcomed by the nice Dutch couple, Jan and Yvonne. Be sure to visit Skållerud’s beautiful church from 1679, which is right next door.

Here you will have dinner and you will stay in nice rooms with all the comforts.

Day 4

After breakfast, you ride to Håverud, where the canal trip departs at. 10:50. You will pass 16 locks and the famous aqueduct in Håverud on the 5-hour boat trip back to Bengtsfors. A good lunch is served on board.
