Here you have three comfortable days offering some art and culture and a wonderful boat trip on Dalsland's canal with a good lunch on board!

Day 1

You arrive at Dalsland via Årjäng, where you can shop for a little bit before moving on to the old town Gustavsfors. Here you have a good lunch at Roynes Sjömagasin, which is a beautiful place in the guest harbor!
After lunch you continue south to Bengtsfors, which is a nice little town close to Lake Lelång! Here you go up to Majberget, which has a wonderful view of the lake and the city. You visit here Halmen Hus, which is a fine museum and also has a well-stocked shop with crafts. Then you go to Gammelgårdens open-air museum. Here you will find a guided tour of about 20 old cottages from the 19th century, which has been moved.
A few hundred meters further away, Dahls Konfektyr is a worthwhile visit. They have factory sales of their fresh candy at a very good price!
Then it’s time to go to First Hotel in Bengtsfors! Stay here for a night in a double room, and serve a three-course dinner in the evening! The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, so please take bath clothes with you if you want!

Day 2

After a good breakfast, you walk about 300 meters to the quay where the canal boats are located. Here you go aboard, and then have a fantastic canal trip in front of you down to Håverud. You pass 16 locks and the famous aqueduct in Håverud. On board you are served lunch and the boats have full rights. From Håverud you then go to the train / rail bus back to Bengtsfors.
From Bengtsfors, take the car to Baldersnäs Herrgård, where you stay overnight. You live in a double room in one of the wings located in the beautiful English park, which is nice to walk in. In the evening you are served a good two-course dinner in the mansion’s cozy restaurant!

Day 3

You start the day with a good manor breakfast, and then you go to the little community Fengersfors. Here you visit Not Quite, which today is an art and craft area housed in a former paper mill. An amazing area of ​​smithy, ceramics workshop, stoneware bakery, shop etc. Here is a very cozy and nice Bistro, where I can recommend you to have lunch before continuing!
When you are satisfied, you continue to Ed. Here you stay at Moose Ranch to familiarize yourself with the moose and join them when they are fed! You will also know most about the “King of the Forest”. Of course, here is also a shop, which has many related products etc. Before you go home, you’ll have afternoon coffee.
