Day 1

Arrival Skållerud Farm and dinner, please visit Skållerud’s beautiful church from 1679 that is across the road. The church has a fantastic baroque decor.

Day 2

After breakfast you will have lunch packages, and it is time to go to the Vänercoast and the nature reserve Yttre Bodane. Here you will find a rich plant and bird life.

After the hike, it is nice to return to Skållerud via Upperud and Håverud. In Upperud you can visit the Dalsland Art Museum and maybe have afternoon coffee/the, and in Håverud you will see the famous aqueduct.

Day 3

After breakfast and packed lunches, this day’s trip goes to Tresticklans National Park, which overlooks untouched forest in all directions. Here you can also cross the Norwegian border.

On the way home you visit the Moose Ranch in Ed, where you will meet the moose, ” The king of forest”.

Dinner at Skållerud Farm.

This day can be exchanged for a canal trip on Dalsland’s canal incl. lunch board and train / rail bus back. You start either in Bengtsfors and make a great trip to Håverud, or opposite. You will passes 16 locks and the aqueduct in Håverud.

Day 4

Breakfast and again lunch packed with you. Today you visit Kroppefjäll, the southernmost outflow of the Scandinavian mountain range. Here is one of Dalslands wolf territory. On the way back you can take a look at Dals Rostock, with Kerstin’s Atlejè, Örtagård, etc. Dinner at Skållerud Farm.

Day 5

After breakfast you go to Skärbo Nature Reserve. In this beautiful cultural landscape, there are various long hiking trails that are well marked. Choose how far you want to go, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Today you have lunch on your own.
